Sport works differently from the weekly event nights because the fixture decides the schedule.
Rugby and football are a real part of life at The Shamrock. Our sports coverage has included Six Nations, Premier League, Champions League, NFL, Formula 1 and World Cup nights. The exact game matters, so it is always worth checking what is being shown before travelling across Munich for a specific fixture.
The advantage of a sports night is that nobody needs an introduction. The match gives the room something to react to together.
That makes sport particularly good if you are arriving alone. Sit near the bar and it is easy to end up talking football or rugby with somebody you did not arrive with. A goal, a bad decision or a referee everyone suddenly dislikes usually handles the introduction for you.
